When a visitor books online which of the two courses are they booking?

There are 26 holes at Nefyn Golf Club consiting of the Front 10, Old Back 8 (The Point) and New Back 8.

Visitors booking online and through the Office/Pro Shop will play the Front 10 followed by the Back 8 of the Old, (the Front 10 holes are common to both the Old and New Courses).

At certain times, visitors may request to play the New Course, consisting of the Front 10 and New 8 around the small coastal estuary.

 

What different categories of membership does the Club offer?

Full (Gents and Ladies)
Joint
Seniors (Gents and Ladies)
Ladies Taster
Intermediate 1 (yrs 18-24); Intermediate 2 (yrs 25-29); Intermediate 3 (30-31)
Juniors 13 and under
Juniors 14-17

 

Does the Club have an entry fee for membership?

Yes, there is a £10 membership fee per person joining apart from Juniors.

 

Are non-golfers able to use the Clubhouse facilities throughout the week?

Non-golfers are welcome to use the facilities of the Clubhouse, including the bar and restaurant, throughout the year. At certain times of the year, however, in particular the first two weeks of August, the Clubhouse is busy with members playing competitions. Visitors are requested to adopt the Club's smart casual dress code (includes smart jeans but not beachwear). Visitors wishing to use the Dining facilities for a more formal function are advised to book via the Club's Catering Manager on  01758 720 966 option 3.
